Obituary of Robert J Krings

Age 89 
Friend of Bill W. 50+ Yrs 

A kind and loving man, Bob journeyed into eternal life October 29, 2021. Preceded in death by beloved wife and friend, Claudia; parents Ernie & Susie Krings; & son-in-law, Mike Carver.  Survived by his grateful children: Jan Carver, Mike (Patty), Lynne Yoch (Tom), Jim (Traci), Sue Bothwell (Mike), & Ron (Julie).  He was “Papa Bob” to 18 adoring grandchildren & their 9 spouses, and 20 (soon 22) greatgrandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Bill & Jack (Mary). 

His wife and family were the focus and pride of his life.  He taught and led us with integrity, love, and his own brand of wit and humor. Bob wore a variety of career hats including barber, college teacher, and realtor. He enjoyed local history, architecture, and old cars. As a member of the Capital City Car Club, he loved traveling with the Backroad Boys. 

Due to covid, services will be private.  He will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. St. Paul.
