Obituary of Shirley Theresa Lambert

Lambert, Shirley T. 

Age 88 of Oakdale, MN, died at the Pillars, Hospice March 14, 2023.

Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Gary; parents, Donald & Elenore Rice; and brother, Donald Jr. “Butch”. Survived by four children, Nanette (Mark), Bryon (Rene), Lisa, and Jeff; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew. 

Shirley started and closed J.C Penny’s of Sunray for 37 years; then, returned to a career, working at Skyview in before & after childcare into her late 70’s. She was a devoted wife of 62 years, an avid gardener, loved her home church family of 65 years, a wonderful grandparent and mother.  Shirley embraced her family; a heart filled with love. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11 AM (10 AM – 11AM visitation) at North Presbyterian Church, 2675 E. Hwy. 36, N. St. Paul, MN. 

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
